Below is a list of WSF's annual academic and athletic scholarships:

Carol Beeson Memorial Education Scholarship

The Carol Beeson Memorial Education Scholarship was established in March of 2020 by the family of Carol Beeson, in memory and honor of her passion for community and education. The award recognizes a student in good standing who has achieved a 3.0 cumulative GPA and intends to pursue a degree in Education at an accredited college. The award for this scholarship is in the amount of $2,500.


Dorothy F. Mantel Scholarship  

The Dorothy F. Mantel Scholarship is awarded to a senior who, in addition to outstanding academic performance, has cared about the school and school environment as evidenced by interest and contributions that have made a positive difference in school. The award for this scholarship is in the amount of $3,000.


Fred S. Dewey, Jr Scholarship

The Fred S. Dewey, Jr Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors who exemplify dedication to multiple sports, leadership as a student, character displayed in the athletic venues as well as in the community, and a high academic achievement. The award is in memory of Fred S. Dewey, Jr., WHS class of 1932 for his service to his country during WWII. This scholarship awards two (2) deserving Wyoming High School Student Athletes, one (1) female and one (1) male in the amount of $1,000 each.


Go the Distance Scholarship 

The Go The Distance Scholarship is awarded to graduating, college-bound seniors who participated in the WHS cross-country athletic program and who are deserving of this award. The scholarship award recognizes cross-country athletes who best exemplify the spirit of the sport and the life lessons it teaches. This scholarship awards two (2) deserving Wyoming High School Student Athletes, one (1) female and one (1) male in the amount of $2,500 each. 


Lin Y.S. Lin Family Education Scholarship

Four Lin Y.S. Lin Family Education Scholarships were established by the Lin Family who place a high value on education and wish to make an impact on the educational future of graduating seniors. These awards recognize students pursuing secondary education, who are in good standing and have achieved a benchmark cumulative GPA. Each award is in the amount of $4,000.


Richard M. Glover Scholarship

The Richard M. Glover Scholarship was established in March of 2020 by the Glover Family and named in memory and honor of Richard M. Glover, whose 12 years of service on the Wyoming City Schools Board of Education led to lasting changes in our District. The award recognizes a student who has demonstrated perseverance and dedication to learning and exemplifies hard work and commitment to achieving academic and other related goals. The award for this scholarship is in the amount of $2,000.


Tink Miller "Most Dedicated" Wrestling Scholarship

The Tink Miller "Most Dedicated" Wrestling Scholarship is awarded to a graduating, college-bound senior who participated in the WHS wrestling program, and who demonstrates dedication, determination, and a love of wrestling. Tink Miller was the WHS wrestling coach from 1971-75 and described as a relentlessly competitive and a charismatic coach in the very best traditions of Wyoming Athletics. This honor is a tribute to the lifelong impact Tink Miller had on his wrestlers and the Wyoming wrestling program. The award for this scholarship is in the amount of $1,000.


Virginia B. Gridley Education Scholarship 

The Virginia B. Gridley Education Scholarship was established in 2013 by the family and friends of Virginia Gridley in honor of her 90th birthday and to honor her 23 years of service to the Wyoming School District as a former teacher and librarian. The award recognizes a student in good standing who has achieved a 3.0 cumulative GPA and intends to pursue a degree in Education at an accredited college. The award for this scholarship is in the amount of $1,000.


Wyoming Legends of Golf Scholarship

The Wyoming Legends of Golf Scholarship was established to recognize worthy individuals who have made significant contributions to the game of golf; and in turn, enriched our community and enhanced the reputation of the Wyoming Golf Club with their many accomplishments. The purpose of this award is to recognize and reward young, deserving golfers from the Wyoming community, and inspire them by the past and present Wyoming Legends. This scholarship awards two (2) deserving Wyoming High School Student Athletes, one (1) female and one (1) male in the amount of $1,000 each.
