Senior Trip to Washington DC

Updated: Jul 18, 2023

Every year, the Wyoming School Foundation provides financial assistance to ensure all senior students can attend their class trip to Washington DC.

“The senior trip serves as a springboard for the instructional objectives in government, politics, and economic studies where student learning can be observed first hand,” said James Stallings, WHS Principal. Rather than passively listening, students can engage with content in a natural environment.

Students build independence and bond with their classmates as they share experiences outside of the classroom. “The trip promotes unity and friendship among classmates, and has a positive, lasting impact,” adds Stallings. WHS seniors agree. “We appreciate the financial support of the Foundation to help ensure all students attend their senior trip.”
