The Foundation was thrilled to provide WHS students with books for the "Meet the Author" program last week. Local author & 1997 WHS graduate Emma Carlson-Berne visited with over 20 students interested in reading, writing, illustrating, and publishing.
Emma shared her experience as a published author. Students asked questions about the process of becoming a writer and were able to better understand the publication process from the experience.
